More suspicious packages found, targeting Booker, Clapper

Authorities have intercepted suspicious packages addressed to Sen. Cory Booker and former National Intelligence Director James Clapper. The packages are similar to those containing pipe bombs sent to Hillary Clinton, former President Barack Obama and former Vice President Joe Biden.

Deaths of 2 who fell from Yosemite ledge under investigation

Two people died after falling from the Taft Point overlook at Yosemite National Park, which has an over 3,000-foot drop to the Yosemite Valley floor. A tourist spotted the bodies on Wednesday, Oct. 25, but it’s unclear when the two fell. Park officials have not yet identified the bodies.

US official says Putin invited to visit Washington next year

Russian President Vladimir Putin has been invited to visit Washington in 2019, U.S. National Security Adviser John Bolton announced Friday, Oct. 26.

A video shared on Twitter shows two men helping a recently widowed woman pay for gas. According to a tweet by Twitter user @kwilli1046, the men approached the woman after seeing her pay for gas with pennies, not knowing her husband died only a week prior. The video has received more than 6.6 million views since it was posted Oct. 25.
